Office Policies

Patient Late Arrival Policy

The physicians at Saluté see many patients during a clinical day. Therefore, if you are more than five minutes late for a scheduled appointment, please be aware that your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Being seen for your appointment will be left to the discretion of your physician based on the nature of your concern and the doctor's schedule that particular day. 

Patient No Show Policy

We understand that some No-Shows are inevitable (flat tire, sick child, etc) but ask that you be considerate of others wanting to book appointments and cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend. We are only able to accept phone cancellations - no email please. On the occasion of the first No-Show appointment, you will be invoiced the appropriate amount of the missed appointment. No further appointments will be booked until the invoice has been paid in full. If you have 3 No-Show appointments, you will need to find a new medical office.

Cancellation Policy

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other Saluté patients, please cancel your appointments by phone 24 business hours in advance if you are unable to attend. This allows us time to allot that appointment to a patient with an urgent need. For cancellation of Monday appointments, please call the clinic on Friday during our business hours. All late cancellations will be invoiced the appropriate amount of the appointment. No further appointments will be booked until the invoice has been paid in full.

Phone or Fax Refills of Prescriptions

Prescription refills should be done during your visits but we understand that at times this doesn't occur. If this happens to you, speak with your pharmacist about refilling a small amount of your medication until you are able to book a follow-up appointment. Otherwise phone or fax refills can be requested from your physician. See the link to uninsured services to learn about the fee for this service.
